RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria is an important factor for the candidates to get recruited. It is mandatory for all the candidates to fulfill them. If you will not satisfy the eligibility standards then the candidature will be canceled. So it is very important for the candidate to go through the age limit, educational qualification, and the medical standards.
There is a change in the age limit of RRB Group D. The age limit has been extended by 2 years from the previous age. So there is a new age for all the candidates belonging to the different categories.
Apart from the age limit, the medical standards are the essential factor in the recruitment process. The candidates will have to be medically fit. It is mandatory for the candidates to satisfy all the medical standards because the candidates will have to go through the Physical Efficiency Test also. RRB Railway Group D Age Limit
As we have discussed that the age limit for Group D recruitment has been extended. You can check the age limit of the candidates from the given table:

Date of Birth: The candidates can check the date of birth category wise as given below:
For UR: The lower limit of DOB for UR candidates is July 01, 2000 and the Upper Limit of DOB is July 1990.
For OBC: For this category, the lower limit of the date of birth is July 01, 2000 and the Upper Limit is July 1987.
For SC/ ST: The candidates who belong to this category have the lower DOB limit July 01, 2000 and the Upper Limit is July 1985.
RRB Group D Eligibility: Nationality/ Citizenship
The candidates must check the conditions regarding the nationality and citizenship from the table given below. The candidate must be either
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a permanent settled Tibetan refugee in India who had come to India before January 01, 1962. or
- a permanently settled Indian origin person who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
Note: For all the above categories, the eligibility favor certificate must be issued by the Government of India.
RRB Group D Eligibility: Educational Qualification
There are different qualification criteria for the candidates belonging to different departments. You can check the criteria form the points given below:
For Electrical, Engineering, Mechanical, and S & T Department: For this department, the candidates must have possessed:
- 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. OR
- Must pass 10th plus ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
For Medical and Traffic Department: For this department, the candidate must have done:
- Matriculation/ pass 10th class. OR
- ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT (or) equivalent. OR
- Must possess the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

RRB Group D Eligibility: Medical Standards
The candidates will have to pass the Physical Efficiency Test after the CBT. Those who will clear the PET will be called for Document Verification. So it is very important for the candidates to pass all the medical standards. You can check the Medical Standards from the table given below:
