The Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways) has decided the Eligibility Criteria for the candidates who wish to get recruited for Railway Police Force. The candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for RPF Recruitment 2018. Eligibility Criteria is a very important factor in the recruitment process. RPF Eligibility Criteria 2018: Age & Experience
The candidates must fulfill the criteria regarding the age. Their ages must be within the specified standards and they should also have the specified experience according to their posts. You can get the idea of the same from the table given below:

Date of Birth: The date of birth of the candidates must be the same as specified in the Matriculation Certificate. If the authority will release the notification in between the month of January and June then the age will be counted as on 01 July of the year. If the notification will be released in between July and December then the age will be considered from 01 January of next year.
RPF Eligibility Criteria 2018: Relaxation in the Age

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2018: Special provisions for ex-servicemen
In the Ex-servicemen category, the candidates who are from retired/ discharged personnel of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Central Police Organizations (CPOs) category will not be considered. After the deduction of military service provided (minimum of 6 months after attestation) from the actual age, the ex-servicemen candidates will get the relaxation of the 3 years for UR, 6 years for OBC, 8 years for SC/ ST. Those who will belong to this category will have to submit the specified documents including Community Certificates at the time of the Document Verification.

Must Ensure Your Eligibility Before Applying
The candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the criteria of the eligibility either related to the post or to the examination. The candidates will be shortlisted by the details which they had provided in the application form. If the details are all correct then they will proceed further. Otherwise if at any point the authority will get that the information available in the application form is invalid/ incorrect/ false then the candidature will be canceled.
Documents to be Produced
The candidates must have all the documents such as:
- For the proof of age, you should have the Matriculation Certificate.
- As the proof of the Educational qualification, candidates must have Graduation I Matriculation Certificate.
- Caste Certificate
- Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
- Self-attested photographs.
- No Objection Certificate from the present employer.
